Enter a Unix timestamp in seconds to see its Gregorian and
Solar Hijri dates in UTC. You can also enter a date and time
in either calendar to generate a Unix timestamp.
A Unix timestamp counts seconds from January 1, 1970 at
00:00:00 UTC, known as the Unix epoch. Negative timestamps
represent times before that starting point.
Seconds or milliseconds?
This converter accepts whole seconds. For example, 1704067200 seconds and 1704067200000 milliseconds represent the same instant.
Divide a millisecond timestamp by 1,000 before using this tool;
discard any fractional seconds if you only need whole seconds.
Why does the converted time differ from my local time?
The result is displayed in UTC. Your local clock may show a
different time because of its time zone or daylight saving time.
The timestamp itself still represents the same instant.
Can I convert a Persian date to a timestamp?
Yes. Select Solar Hijri date, enter the date and time in UTC,
and click Convert. To convert a timestamp back, select Unix
timestamp to see both Gregorian and Solar Hijri dates.
